Dr. Teresa Wagner is a registered and licensed dietitian with a doctorate in public health. She’s certified in Public Health, Patient Safety, Clinical Health Equity, Lifestyle Medicine, Health Coaching, and a certified Community Health Worker (CHW) Instructor.
Dr. Wagner is an associate professor of Public Health in the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is cross-appointed in the College of Pharmacy and Health Profession's Lifestyle Health Sciences MS degree at UNT Health.
Dr. Wagner also serves as the Director of the UNT Health State Certified Community Health Worker Training Center.
She's a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and a Fellow of the Texas Public Health Association.
Dr. Wagner’s research focuses on promoting access to care for everyone, to help people achieve their wellness goals. She is a sought-after presenter and mentor who works to train students and community health workers as conduits to health literacy.
